Residents:
Anyone residing or paying taxes in the RM of Gimli, Town of Arborg or RM of Bifrost-Riverton can obtain a membership free of charge. You will need something in writing to show proof of residency which includes your name and current address (i.e. driver’s licence, utility bill, rent receipt, tax bill).
Non-Residents:
Annual fee of $40 per individual or $50 per household. You will need to provide name of rural municipality.
Membership Regulations:
• Children under the age of 13 must have parental consent to obtain a library membership.
•Patrons are responsible for the cost of any lost or damaged items.
•Late fees are assessed per item per day.
•Returns can be made at the Gimli and Arborg libraries at any time. The book drops are open 24 hours.
•Patrons may phone to renew items or receive information regarding their account.
•Members can access their library accounts online through the Evergreen catalogue.

Magazines – 1 week
Movies – 1 week
Renewals
Patrons may renew materials over the phone, online or in person as long as there are no holds waiting. Interlibrary loan materials can be renewed only once.
